You will assist in the production of jewelry as part of our Production team. Candidates must be available to interview within the next two weeks and begin work within the next month–the sooner the better.

You will be trained to handle or assist with:
• prep work on a production scale (repetitive cutting, drilling, stamping, measuring, sawing, hammering, etc.),
• jewelry assembly,
• oxidizing/painting,
• soldering/annealing,
• metal forming,
• engraving, and more.

• are organized, motivated, and self-starting.
• have a meticulous attention to detail.
• are able to focus in a busy environment.
• have nimble fingers and strong wrists.
• thrive with a variety of work and tasks, disparate in difficulty, scope, and priority-level.
• understand and appreciate good customer service.
• enjoy at least a couple of the following: designer/maker companies, small business, team-based work environments with room for independence, that specific satisfaction that comes from mowing the lawn or ironing, making things.
• like to learn.
• like to share knowledge.
• like to collaborate.

You will be asked to:
• be exposed to the noise of jewelry production on a daily basis.
• frequently use torches, hammers, light machinery and computers.
• occasionally work odd or long hours.
• intermittently lift and carry up to 35 pounds, sometimes carrying boxes upstairs and placing them in overhead storage.

Jewelry production/assembly experience is not required, though candidates with experience may be favored over those without. Relevant applicable experience (detailed, small-scale work with your hands) is a must.An eagerness to learn new skills along with steady and competent hands will be valuable even without prior jewelry making experience. If you are offered the job, you will be required to sign a Proprietary Information, Invention Assignment, and Non-Solicitation Agreement as a condition of employment.

Wage and Benefits:
• Starting wage of $12.00/hour (+DOE)
• 36-40 hour/week (overtime available seasonally)
• Moderately flexible scheduling

A part-time position may be available depending on applicants and production needs. Part-time benefits do not include 401k, paid holidays, or health insurance.
