Ever wish you had more opportunities to connect with other Portland Made members? Yearning to attend an event where you can rest assured you're in good company?
Our membership is growing, so we've planned this members-only social for members to get to know one-another, and have the chance to hang out in a familiar context -- at a workbench. Only this time you're encouraged to sip wine, cider, or beer, while there.
Portland Made members and owners of DIY Bar, Adam and Jason Gorske, are opening up DIY Bar for an exclusive members-only maker craft night. We provide the space, drinks, light snacks, and tools -- you bring a bag of your consistent refuse for everyone to get creative with. We're looking for those holes you punch out of leather, stamped-out metal sheets generated when manufacturing jewelry, three inch pieces of scrap yarn -- you get the idea. No matter how conscientious you are about not generating waste, you likely find yourself knee deep in the same bits of refuse, and we’re ready to get inspired by whatever is leftover when you make. Start saving your scraps now!
This evening will include:
Complimentary drinks and snacks
Networking with other Portland Made members
The chance to make use of DIY Bar’s tools and materials
Reward for most talented team…
This event is for MEMBERS ONLY.
More About Our Hosts
Brothers Adam and Jason Gorske, co-owners of DIY Bar, provide the tools, materials, instructions, and liquid encouragement for people to create. They’ve been inspired by seeing what people make, and how excited they are to be creating something with their hands.
