Building Blocks Business Development Series
Portland Made has teamed up with Klum House’s Brave Your Own Business to bring you the The Portland Made Business Development Workshop and Panel series. This is a four-part series designed to inspire and connect makers and manufacturers on their unique business paths and empower them with tangible skills and resources to manage and grow their businesses.
We will be providing workshops and panels that touch on basic skills needed to help you along your business journey such as: Bookkeeping, Marketing and Brand strategy, Sales & Retail know-how, and General Operations. Throughout the series we will hold free meet-ups for event attendees to continue to learn from each other, address questions, and pick the brains of the amazing instructors!

Workshop #1: The Art of Numbers: Bookkeeping + Taxes Made Simple
March 5, 2017 1-4 pm
In this 3-hour workshop you will gain tangible skills and information to decipher the ins + outs of business finances for creative entrepreneurs. Led by Jenna Goldin, a licensed tax preparer in Oregon since 2010 that is on a mission to empower self-employed creative folk by demystifying the often intimidating field of finances and taxes.
